Dimond then scored five runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a commanding 14-5 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Juneau failed to score in the top of the fifth, but also kept Dimond from achieving a game-ending 10-run lead by throwing a batter out at first to keep a runner on third from scoring and ending the inning.<\/p>\n<p>That left Juneau with one last chance for the state title. They showed a final spark with a two-run homer with one out, but were unable to narrow the gap further.<\/p>\n<p>The first three games in the series were decided by one-run margins, with Juneau winning the opener and Dimond the next two.
