Or maybe all of these.<\/p>\n<p>With school enrollment still on the decline, why not think about combining a couple and repurpose a school into a City Hall. They are already city-owned, have plenty of space and lots of parking.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe then the $16.3 million already appropriated in general funds could outfit the school into the &ldquo;City Hall&rdquo; and the money saved not paying rent could go to building maintenance.<\/p>\n<p>I am a lifelong Alaskan, moving to Juneau from Anchorage in 1957. I worked for the State of Alaska highway maintenance for five years then went into business for myself as an excavation contractor.
