Six people have been indicted by a Juneau grand jury following a 2022 investigation by law enforcement officials involving the distribution of controlled substances in Petersburg, the Juneau Police Department announced Thursday afternoon in a press release.<\/p>\n

“More arrests are anticipated in regard to this ongoing investigation,” the release states<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The investigation was by Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD), a regional task force comprised of municipal police departments from Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Haines, Skagway, Petersburg, Hoonah, Wrangell, Craig and Yakutat, the Alaska State Troopers, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, United States Postal Inspection Service, and Coast Guard Investigative Service.<\/p>\n

Indicted were:<\/p>\n

• 56-year-old Petersburg resident Palmer Haakon Thomassen: Two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree, and two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree. An arrest warrant was issued for $20,000.<\/p>\n

• 32-year-old Petersburg resident Gaberiel Rory Volk: Three counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and one count of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree. An arrest warrant was issued for $10,000.<\/p>\n

• 28-year-old Dazzlin Mariah Frentz: Three counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and one count of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree. An arrest warrant was issued for $10,000.<\/p>\n

• 42-year-old Petersburg resident Edward Joseph Rayborn: Two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree. An arrest warrant was issued for $20,000.<\/p>\n

• 41-year-old Petersburg resident Amanda Lee Loucks: Two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and one count of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree. An arrest warrant was issued for $5,000.<\/p>\n

• 30-year-old Petersburg resident Austin Allen Strickland: Two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and two counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the third degree; An arrest warrant was issued for $20,000.<\/p>\n

Investigators with SEACAD and the Petersburg Police Department, arrested Thomassen, Volk, Frentz, Rayborn, and Loucks in Petersburg on their outstanding arrest warrants on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
