Shots fired near Chinook Apartments<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Dec. 2 at about 6:25 p.m., the Juneau Police Department received a report of gunshots in the area of the Chinook Apartments, off of Cinema Drive. One caller reported seeing a male hold a gun in the air and fire off three to four shots. There were no reported injuries.<\/p>\n

Responding officers did not locate anyone in the area. One witness told the police that they saw two people around a vehicle and there appeared to be some type of argument. The people outside the vehicle were pulling on the vehicle’s passenger side window as if they were trying to break it. An occupant of the vehicle pointed a gun out of the window and fired three to four shots into the air, as the vehicle drove away.<\/p>\n

​Residential burglary on Abby Way<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary at a residence in the 4000 block of Abby Way, which occurred sometime in the past month. The following items, valued at approximately $60,000, were reported stolen:<\/p>\n

• 4 natural gold nuggets.<\/p>\n

• 14kt gold, diamond ring. Channel set diamonds in gold. 1.73TCW diamonds.​​<\/p>\n

• 14kt white and yellow gold, two-tone bracelet. “Barrel” design.​<\/p>\n

• 14kt gold chain with lobster clasp.​<\/p>\n

• 14kt gold Bangle with Diamonds​.<\/p>\n

• 14kt gold\/quartz diamond ring size 14<\/p>\n

• Black Diamond Earrings​​.<\/p>\n

• 14kt gold nugget pendant​​.<\/p>\n

• 2023 Liberty one ounce gold coin​.<\/p>\n

• 50 peso gold coin​​.<\/p>\n

• Walking liberty size 14 ring​​.<\/p>\n

• 1oz gold coin pendant, 50 peso.​​<\/p>\n

• 1oz Gold Coin “Bitcoin” Logo​​.<\/p>\n

• 1\/2oz Walking Liberty gold coin.​​<\/p>\n

• A couple of antique Bulova wristwatches​​.<\/p>\n

• Jewelry box with misc. items inside​​.<\/p>\n

• Glass top watch case with about 8 watches inside.​<\/p>\n

• Random old class rings and pendants.<\/p>\n

Residential burglary of a shed on Thunder Mountain Road<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Nov. 29 the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary of a shed located outside a residence in the 8000 block of Thunder Mountain Road. The complainant reported the lock to the shed had been broken off and the following items, valued at approximately $4,000, were stolen:<\/p>\n

• Husqvarna 51 chain saw.<\/p>\n

• Husqvarna 455 rancher chainsaw.<\/p>\n

• 2 bars and spare chains.<\/p>\n
