Veterans internships being offered for work in Tongass National Forest<\/strong><\/p>\n In partnership with the Mt. As the current leases approach expiration, CBJ is seeking to consolidate its footprint.<\/p>\n Potential vendors — firms, realtors, contractors, developers, building owners, or lessors — are invited to join an informational meeting via teleconference at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8. Vendors interested in submitting proposals are asked to contact CBJ Purchasing at purchasing@juneau.gov at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting to provide notice of participation and submit any questions.<\/p>\n Proposed office space must conform to one of the following scenarios:<\/p>\n Scenario 1: All CBJ downtown employees (164 staff) and the Assembly Chambers relocate into proposed office space to include Assembly Chambers. Proposed office space must have a minimum of 46,000 gross square feet of office space and on-site parking for visitors.<\/p>\n Scenario 2: Majority of CBJ downtown employees (99 staff) relocate. Employees and Assembly Chambers remain in City Hall building. Proposed office space must have a minimum of 33,625 gross square feet of office space and on-site parking for visitors.<\/p>\n Scenario 3: CBJ employees currently occupying offices in the Marine View building (50 staff) relocate. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at 2 p.m. Jan. 15 at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. The theme is “Shifting the Cultural Climate — It Starts with Me.” The celebration has not taken place the past four years due to COVID-19.
