Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 9:23 a.m. on Wednesday, a 48-year-old female reported being assaulted by a 36-year-old male on Teal Street.<\/p>\n

Attempt to Serve<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:04 p.m. on Wednesday, 39-year-old Jonathan Williams James was arrested on Whittier Street on two $50 Juneau Police Department warrants. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n

Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 9:41 a.m. on Wednesday, a 48-year-old male reported a burglary that happened at a business on Tonsgard Court.<\/p>\n

Child Abuse or Neglect<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday, JPD began a confidential investigation into a report of child abuse.<\/p>\n

Domestic Dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 9:03 p.m. on Wednesday, 35-year-old Melinda Santos was arrested for second-degree domestic violence assault on Nowell Avenue. She was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

Out With Subject or Situation<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 12:38 p.m. on Wednesday, 18-year-old Alexzander Cozzi was arrested on Glacier Highway for unlawful contact. He was taken to LCCC. Domestic violence was a factor.<\/p>\n

At 3:07 p.m. on Wednesday, 42-year-old William Frye was arrested on Willoughby Avenue on two $250 JPD warrants. He was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

Search and Rescue<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:10 p.m. on Wednesday, the Alaska State Troopers reported report was received at 6:35 p.m. April 27 of two hikers lost near the West Glacier Trail of Mendenhall Lake. The hikers lost the trail, ended up in a precarious area and were unable to safely move out of the area. Juneau Mountain Rescue, Sitka Mountain Rescue, Alaska Mountain Rescue Group, and Capitol City Fire\/Rescue responded and assisted with the retrieval of the hikers. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a 34-year-old reported two juveniles shoplifting from a business on Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n

Traffic Hazard<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 9:11 p.m. on Wednesday, 45-year-old Garrett Derr was arrested for assault and violating conditions of release on Concrete Way. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was a factor.<\/p>\n

Traffic Stop<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 5:01 p.m. on Wednesday, 44-year-old Katie Arthur was cited and released for driving while licensed suspended on Glacier Highway. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.<\/p>\n

Trespassing<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 4:54 a.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department conducted an investigation into a report that a 53-year-old male trespassed on CBJ property on Shell Simmons Drive.<\/p>\n

At 2:17 p.m. on Wednesday, a 34-year-old female reported a 42-year-old male trespassed at a business on Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n

At 7:49 p.m. on Wednesday, 58-year-old Robert McCord was arrested for trespass and violating conditions of release on Clinton Drive. He was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

Welfare Check<\/strong><\/p>\n

At 1:18 a.m. on Wednesday, 45-year-old Jesse Barker was arrested for driving while intoxicated and cited for driving without a license on Douglas Highway. He was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
