It is less than a month until CBJ property taxes are due. The city tells you that bills can be paid online…but here is a word of caution.<\/p>\n
You may register with InvoiceCloud online and get an email telling you that your registration was successful. You may then get a payment confirmation letter from InvoiceCloud telling you that your payment has been successfully processed. Then, several days after the due date, you may receive a notice that your bill was not paid — due to an error in your registration.<\/p>\n
It happened to me, so beware. It is an expensive mistake. The safest way to guarantee that your bill is paid is to hand a check to the cashier at City Hall on or before the due date and get a receipt.<\/p>\n
