The Juneau-Douglas High School: Yadaa.at Kalé Crimson Bears swim and dive team had their second consecutive successful meet of the season last weekend in a travel trip at Ketchikan.<\/p>\n
JDHS placed first in team points on Saturday.<\/p>\n
The Crimson Bears girls scored 718 points, Ketchikan scored 263, Wrangell 167, Craig 153, Petersburg 104 and Sitka 93.<\/p>\n
Crimson Bears girls wins came in the 200 medley relay of Pacific Ricke, Parker Boman, Kennedy Miller and Bailey Fisher in 1:59.69; Amy Liddle 1:59.22 in the 200 free (Lucia Chapell 2nd, Deedee Mills 3rd); Liddle 59.70 in the 100 fly; Mills 1:05.69 in the 100 back (Caitlin Sanders 2nd); Boman 1:15.45 in 100 breast; Miller 27.01 in 50 free (Ricke 2nd); Ricke 5:42.06 in 500 free; 200 free relay of Boman, Maddox Rasmussen, Nova Brakes-Hines and Liddle in 1:49.69; 400 free relay of Chapell, Ricke, Miller and Liddle in 3:55.63<\/p>\n
The JDHS boys scored 570 points, Ketchikan 465, Sitka 336, Petersburg 137, Craig 128 and Wrangell 26.<\/p>\n
Crimson Bears boys wins came in the 200 free relay of Josh Edwards, Owen Rumsey, Matthew Plang and Matthew Godkin in 1:33.31; Godkin 2:18.27 in 100 IM; Plang 23.01 in 50 free.<\/p>\n
JDHS won 11 of 24 events Friday and 12 of 24 Saturday.<\/p>\n

Individual JDHS Friday wins went to the girls 200 medley relay (Sanders, Riley Soboleff, Liddle, Mills) in 1:57.98; boys medley relay (Liam Kiessling, Plang, Edwards, Godkin) 1:45.01; Liddle, 200 IM in 2:12.87; Mills, 50 free in 26.08; Bailey Fisher, 100 free in 57.80; Liddle, 500 free in 5:17.86; girls 200 free relay (Chapell, Ricke, Mills, Liddle) in 1:45.46; boys 200 free relay (Clive Mateo, Edwards, Godkin, Plang) in 1:34.97; Mills, 100 back in 1:02.13; Plang, 100 breast in 1:02.53; girls 400 free relay (Brakes-Hines, Soboleff, Rasmussen, Sanders) in 4:11.46.<\/p>\n
According to JDHS coach Josiah Loseby senior Parker Boman was awarded the “Crimson Claw” by teammates for having the greatest team spirit and sportsmanship shown throughout the meet.<\/p>\n
JDHS will host their only Southeast home meet on Oct. 4-5, and will honor Crimson Bears seniors Boman, Chapell, Brooklyn Kanouse, Ricke, Brakes-Hines, Sanders, Gabby Ely, Oliver Lamkin, Nolan Noel, Plang, Cole Reel, Rumsey, Kellen Arvidson, Godkin and Paul Smith.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
