JPD and Capital City Fire\/Rescue personnel responded immediately, and JPD&rsquo;s Major Accident Response Team responded shortly after.<\/p>\n<p>Both lanes of Douglas highway were closed at Cordova Street for about two hours, according to Kalwara.<\/p>\n<p>A 69-year-old woman driving a red 2008 Honda CRV hit the pedestrian, Kalwara noted.
