Next of kin has been notified.<\/p>\n<p>Sgt. Shawn Phelps told the Empire that someone walking in the area &mdash; just past the Alaska Commercial Fishermens&rsquo; Memorial and a seafood processing business &mdash; discovered the body around 4:30 p.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;There was no signs of trauma whatsoever, but as a standard precaution, the body was sent for an autopsy&rdquo; at the Medical Examiner&rsquo;s Office in Anchorage, Phelps said by phone.<\/p>\n<p>Phelps said police do not yet know how D&rsquo;Cafango ended up in the water.
