Assault<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 1:22 a.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of a fight; Matthew Maka, 23, was cited and released for assault in the 200 block of Front Street.<\/p>\n

Burglary<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:33 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a burglary of a residence in the 7600 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Death<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:24 a.m. Saturday, the Alaska State Troopers received a report that Michael Denny, 55, of Thorne Bay, was found deceased at a residence there. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Disorderly conduct<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:29 p.m. Saturday, Ricardo Willard, 51, was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

Disturbance<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Dec. 28, the Alaska State Troopers received a report of a disturbance that occurred in Elfin Cove several weeks ago. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Domestic dispute<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 10:18 p.m. Saturday, a 39-year-old woman in the Juneau area reported she was assaulted by a 33-year-old man.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 1:22 p.m. Sunday, a 28-year-old man in the Juneau area was arrested for domestic violence assault and interfering with the report of a crime of domestic violence.<\/p>\n

Drug activity<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:51 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of drug activity in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n

Drunken driving<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Thomas Aubertine, 54, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 9300 block of Glacier Highway. His breath sample read 0.228, and he was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:40 a.m. Sunday, Karina Ogai, 29, was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. She was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

False statement on license application<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Dec. 28, the Alaska Wildlife Troopers cited Vickie L. Echols, 53, of Toledo, Washington, for obtaining a 2014 resident sport fish license when she did not qualify.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Friday, AWT cited William Avery, 27, of Juneau, for obtaining a 2016 resident sport fish license when he had not lived in Alaska for a period of one year at the time of application.<\/p>\n

Fire and medical<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Friday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to 10 EMS calls around town throughout the day, and one medical transport. At 4:08 p.m., CCFR responded to a report of motor vehicle versus pedestrian or bicycle accident; a woman was provided advanced life support and taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Saturday, CCFR responded to 12 EMS calls and one medical transport, two smoke investigations and two reports of unauthorized burning.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Sunday, CCFR responded to nine EMS calls and one medical transport around town throughout the day.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Monday, CCFR responded to eight EMS calls and one medical transport around town throughout the day.<\/p>\n

Harassment<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 8:49 a.m. Monday, Alaska State Troopers were notified by LCCC staff that an inmate spit on a correctional officer. A charge of harassment in the first degree will be forwarded to the Juneau District Attorney\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:54 p.m. Saturday, Stacy Brown, 47, was cited and released for shoplifting from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n

Subsistence fishing violations<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Tuesday, Alaska Wildlife Troopers served a summons on Donald Yates, 39, of Klawock, charging him with unlawful sale of subsistence fish, false information on a commercial fish ticket, failure to mark subsistence fish and subsistence fishing in a closed area; he reportedly was selling salmon he caught with subsistence gear in the mouth of the Klawock River in late summer of 2016.<\/p>\n

Theft<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:19 a.m. Sunday, JPD investigated the reported theft of a wallet in the 2200 block of Trout Street.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 8:25 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of the theft of a wallet at Juneau International Airport.<\/p>\n

Trespassing<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 7:01 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report of trespass into a business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Vandalism<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 7:01 p.m. Saturday, Nestor Galindo, 32, was cited and released for criminal mischief in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
