A store employee followed Barger and reached into his vehicle\u2019s open passenger-side window to take the allegedly stolen items back.<\/p>\n<p>Barger rolled up the window, trapping the employee, dragged him with his vehicle, and punched him several times in the face, JPD said in an emailed statement about 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses who saw the incident gave JPD a description of the vehicle and a partial license plate number.<\/p>\n<p>Using that information, officers tracked Barger and arrested him for second-degree robbery (a class B felony), fourth-degree assault (a misdemeanor) and fourth-degree theft (another misdemeanor).<\/p>\n<p>The store employee, who was not named, was treated at Bartlett Regional Hospital and released.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An 18-year-old Juneau man is being accused of dragging a store employee with his car after a strong-arm robbery attempt Saturday morning.
