This Saturday marks the final deadline for those looking for their memento from the former Project Playground at Twin Lakes.<\/p>\n
During the cleanup of the playground, which burned down April 24<\/a>, hundreds of personalized fence pickets were recovered. These pickets will be available for pickup this Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This will be the final time the pickets will be available, as the ones that are left over after Saturday will be taken to the dump, according to a City and Borough of Juneau release.<\/p>\n Interested parties can pick up their pickets from the City Landscape Office in the Dimond Park Complex. Individuals and families can purchase a picket for $60, and businesses can for $120.<\/p>\n Each picket will allow up to 17 characters (spaces included).
