The evening will include a performance by the Thunder Mountain Big Band with guest violinist Steve Tada, complimentary hors d\u2019oeuvres, a champagne toast at midnight, a chocolate fountain, door prizes and a no-host bar with a special signature cocktail.<\/p>\n<p>Juneau\u2019s Thunder Mountain Big Band, led by trumpeter Ron Maas, is composed of clarinet, sax, trumpet, trombone, percussion, string bass and piano and features vocalists Vicki VanFleet and John Haywood. The band plays a variety of dance favorites from swing and jazz to Latin, waltzes and polkas. Juneau dance masters Pat Belec and Frank Bergstrom will offer free dance lessons starting at 8 p\/m. The live music begins at 9 p.m. New this year, attendees can reserve a favorite seat at a table for 4 or a table for 10. Tickets are available at www.jazzandclassic.org, the JACC Box Office, Hearthside Books or by calling JJ&amp;C office at 463-3378.
