Edgecumbe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team succumbed to Mt. Edgecumbe\u2019s tough defense on Friday night, losing to the Braves 75-63.<\/p>\n<p>The Falcons scored in streaks while Mt. Edgecumbe kept their offense steady. The Braves took an eight-point advantage in the first, outscoring the Falcons 18-10 in the opening quarter with 15 of Mt. Edgecumbe\u2019s points coming from senior Paul Bioff. Thunder Mountain then made a big run in the second, with junior Chase Saviers\u2019 16 points leading to a team total of 29 in the period.<\/p>\n<p>Down a point coming out of the half, Mt. Edgecumbe outscored TMHS 19-9 in the third, leading to a nine-point Braves advantage going into the final period. Mt. Edgecumbe added three points to their lead in the fourth to close the game up by 12.<\/p>\n<p>Bioff led all scorers with 34 points. Junior teammate Trenton Kasayulie had 15, senior Bobby Pate had 11 and senior John Housler added 10. <\/p>\n<p>Falcons junior Chase Saviers led his team in defeat with 23 points, while junior Noah Reishus-O\u2019Brien added 10.<\/p>\n<p>Thunder Mountain\u2019s record fell to 5-12, while Mt.
