{"id":15160,"date":"2017-12-21T14:37:50","date_gmt":"2017-12-21T22:37:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/troopers-arrest-two-on-felony-parole-warrants\/"},"modified":"2017-12-21T14:37:50","modified_gmt":"2017-12-21T22:37:50","slug":"troopers-arrest-two-on-felony-parole-warrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/troopers-arrest-two-on-felony-parole-warrants\/","title":{"rendered":"Troopers arrest two on felony parole warrants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Alaska State Troopers arrested two Juneau residents on felony parole warrants on Tuesday, including one man who was involved in <a href=\"http:\/\/juneauempire.com\/local\/2015-02-18\/burglary-spree-spreads\" target=\"_blank\">a burglary spree<\/a> in 2014 and 2015.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers, along with Juneau Police Department officers, located 29-year-old Charles Smith Carroll at a residence on Glacier Highway at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/dps.alaska.gov\/dailydispatch\/Home\/Display?dateReceived=12\/20\/2017%2012:00:00%20AM\" target=\"_blank\">a Troopers <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/dps.alaska.gov\/dailydispatch\/Home\/Display?dateReceived=12\/20\/2017%2012:00:00%20AM\" target=\"_blank\">dispatch<\/a>. Carroll was arrested on a felony parole warrant, the original conviction being burglary. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and remanded without bail.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll was <a href=\"http:\/\/juneauempire.com\/local\/2015-03-04\/tips-lead-police-arrest-2nd-burglary-suspect\" target=\"_blank\">arrested in March 2015<\/a> on suspicion of being involved with a burglary spree that hit mom-and-pop shops across the city in late 2014 and early 2015. Numerous tipsters helped track him down. In December 2015, Carroll was sentenced to a total of four years in prison with one year suspended, and ended up paying more than $5,000 in restitution according to electronic court records.<\/p>\n<p>At about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, Troopers located Juneau man Blake Kai Storey, 25, at a Churchill Way residence. Troopers arrested Blake on an outstanding felony parole warrant for sexual abuse of a minor.
