Republican incumbent Don Young won Alaska\u2019s seat.<\/p>\n<p>A bout of unexpected snow coated Juneau\u2019s streets as residents woke up in the morning. Although the City and Borough of Juneau Public Works was equipped for snow removal, six inches of snow surprised most everyone.<\/p>\n<p>The CBJ Board of Education prepared to discuss a report on the closing of schools and rearranging of attendance boundaries for its meeting the next day.
