{"id":15618,"date":"2016-07-26T20:42:17","date_gmt":"2016-07-27T03:42:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/anchorage-strip-club-seeks-reinstatement-of-liquor-license\/"},"modified":"2016-07-26T20:42:17","modified_gmt":"2016-07-27T03:42:17","slug":"anchorage-strip-club-seeks-reinstatement-of-liquor-license","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/anchorage-strip-club-seeks-reinstatement-of-liquor-license\/","title":{"rendered":"Anchorage strip club seeks reinstatement of liquor license"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 An Anchorage strip club is asking a judge to stop a state agency from revoking its liquor license.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ktuu.com\/content\/news\/Anchorage-strip-club-loses-liquor-license-fights-to-get-it-back-388205222.html\" target=\"_blank\">Anchorage television station KTUU reported<\/a> the Alcohol &amp; Marijuana Control Office on July 20 voted unanimously to revoke the liquor license of Fantasies on Fifth.<\/p>\n<p>The municipality of Anchorage and the state Department of Labor protested the license and say the business owes at least $500,000 to about 40 workers.<\/p>\n<p>Three listed club owners could not be reached for comment. Their attorney, Brian Stibitz says in an email he has no comment \u201cat this juncture.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stibitz is asking a Superior Court Judge to impose a restraining order against the decision to revoke the license.
