Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:44 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault in the 200 block of South Franklin Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, a 63-year-old woman reported a burglary in the 100 block of Franklin Street.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:46 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a burglary in the 10600 block of Misty Lane. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:21 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested John Holland, 40, for a burglary in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n Criminal mischief<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:49 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested Reyna Regalado, 31, for criminal mischief in the 1000 block of Glacier Highway. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:53 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of Seward Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Death<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:48 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated the death of an 80-year-old woman in the 8700 block of Trinity Drive. Foul play is not suspected.<\/p>\n Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:01 a.m. Wednesday, JPD created a case for drug activity in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n Drunken driving<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:02 a.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Duwayne Smith, 22, for driving under the influences in the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Smith blew a .198 percent alcohol content. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Tuesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to 13 EMS calls, five transport calls and two false fire alarms.<\/p>\n Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of shoplifting in the 200 block of Franklin Street. The property was recovered.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:16 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report that a jacket valued at approximately $80 was shoplifted from a business in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:34 p.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a stolen bike from Safeway market in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:56 p.m. Tuesday, JPD created a case file about a stolen purse with cruise ship identification in the 200 block of Front Street for information purposes only.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:41 a.m. Wednesday, a 73-year-old man reported the theft of a small floor jack on wheels and a pair of jack stands valued at approximately $60 in the 8600 block of Teal Street.<\/p>\n Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:51 p.m. Tuesday, an 80-year-old man reported damage to a sign in the 2600 block of Douglas Highway.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:24 a.m. Wednesday, a 20-year-old man reported his parking lot in the 1800 block of Glacier Highway was vandalized with spray paint.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This report contains public information available to the Empire from law enforcement agencies.
