On May 25, the shellfish samples collected by the Sitka Tribe of Alaska Environmental Research Lab to test for biotoxins, specifically paralytic shellfish poisoning, showed that clams at the following beaches have elevated toxins and should not be harvested at this time:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Graveyard in Craig<\/p>\n
\u2022 Starrigavan in Sitka<\/p>\n
\u2022 Sandy Beach in Petersburg<\/p>\n
\u2022 Boat Ramp in Klawock<\/p>\n
Shellfish sampling updates will be available on the Southeast Alaska Tribal Ocean Research website at www.seator.org.<\/p>\n
