As of 10 a.m. Monday, there was no update on the woman\u2019s status, Chambers said.<\/p>\n<p>Juneau resident Todd Maclay, who called 911, said at the scene that he was near the Wharf when he heard someone yell for help.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI didn\u2019t hear the fall but I saw the wake come out,\u201d Maclay said. \u201cAnother guy called for help, so I came around and saw her. She was floating chest-up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Maclay\u2019s call came in at 7:23 p.m., Cameron said. She was unconscious when they pulled her from the water, Cameron said.<\/p>\n<p>Due to the location of where she was, responders chose to transport the woman by boat instead of taking her up a ladder to ambulances parked by Marine Park. A CCFR boat arrived a few minutes before 8 p.m. and took the woman to the nearby Coast Guard dock where she was taken from the boat to an ambulance, Chambers said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>\u2022 Contact reporter Alex McCarthy at 523-2271 or amccarthy@juneauempire.com.
