A suspect was apprehended less than an hour later.<\/p>\n<p>Sitka Police Department isn\u2019t releasing additional details at this time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are not releasing the shooter\u2019s name, but we have him in custody. Sitka is safe now,\u201d a SPD dispatcher said when reached for comment.<\/p>\n<p>SPD will have administrative staff available this weekend to provide further details when more information is released to the pubblic.<\/p>\n<p>An SPD Facebook post from 7:05 p.m. Saturday stated that a shooter had fled the scene of a domestic violence issue at the harbor, the post states.
