The family has two small children and are currently trying to raise funds to rebuild their life.<\/p>\n<p>A fundraiser is taking place on Aug. 19 from 5-8 p.m. at the Elizabeth Peratrovich Hall. There will be both a silent and dessert auction, food, raffle and dance performances.<\/p>\n<p> To those who would like to donate to the event, donations are being accepted at Central Council Tlingit and Haida, 9097 Glacier Hwy.; Sealaska, fourth floor, One Sealaska Plaza; Tlingit-Haida Regional Housing Authority, 5446 Jenkins Dr.; First Alaskans Institute, 606 E.
