Karen has a positive vision for Juneau\u2019s future, and much like Greg, she is by nature a centrist and a person who unites.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve known Karen since just after she became director of the Alaska Division of Libraries in the 1980s. The division had contracted me to produce several reference books, and Karen supervised the projects. She was decisive, no-nonsense and fair.<\/p>\n<p>During her six years of service on the Assembly, I noted Karen\u2019s command of the issues and ability to work well with other Assembly members.<\/p>\n<p>More than once Karen sought my opinion on local business matters she knew concerned me.
