No injuries have been reported, according to The Ketchikan Daily News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s got some heat and smoke damage, but structurally it\u2019s just fine,\u201d said City Administrator Jon Bolling.<\/p>\n<p>Fire crews were able to keep the flames from severely damaging surrounding buildings \u201camazingly enough,\u201d Bolling said, as the nearest property is no more than two feet away.<\/p>\n<p>Firefighters from Craig and nearby Klawock remained at the scene into the afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Bolling called the incident \u201ca big loss\u201d for the town of Craig.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRuth Ann\u2019s has been a landmark here for a long time,\u201d he said. \u201cWhen you think of Craig, you usually think of Ruth Ann\u2019s, whether for a drink or a good dinner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The business supported about six jobs in the community of approximately 1,200 people.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the fire remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KETCHIKAN \u2014 A fire has destroyed a decades-old hotel in Craig that served as a landmark in the small community.
