Assist<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:39 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department assisted another agency in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n Conditions violation<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of unlawful contact in the 2000 block of Lemon Creek Road. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Death<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:14 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report that 66-year-old woman was found deceased in her residence in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road. Next of kin was notified and foul play is not suspected.<\/p>\n Disorderly conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:43 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Albert Rinehart, 62, for disorderly conduct in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and later released on his own recognizance. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n Domestic dispute<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:04 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a 44-year-old man for violating a domestic violence protective order in the Juneau area. He was taken to LCCC and held without bail. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a domestic disturbance in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:55 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a domestic disturbance in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Tuesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls and one call that was cancelled en route.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Wednesday, CCFR responded to nine EMS calls, one transport call, one unauthorized burn, one assist call and two calls cancelled en route.<\/p>\n Motor vehicle crash<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a hit-and-run in the 1400 block of Harbor Way. Only the vehicle hit was damaged. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Safekeeping<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 6:39 p.m. Wednesday, JPD took a backpack in for safekeeping. Inside the backpack was a firearm. It was later returned to its owner.<\/p>\n Suspicious activity<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:45 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of suspicious activity in the 3300 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, a 29-year-old woman reported the possible theft of her vehicle more than a year ago in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 6:03 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Michael James Hoyt, 37, for larceny and violating conditions of release on Marine Way. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 639 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a stolen bicycle in the 200 block of Franklin Street.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:19 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of embezzlement in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:59 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report that a Trek bicycle was stolen in front of IGA Foodland in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n Traffic complaint<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a damaged lawn in the 4800 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:42 a.m. Thursday, a woman reported damage to her mailbox in the 8400 block of Canyon Drive causing approximately $50 in damage.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:48 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of vandalism in the 13400 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:25 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of vandalism in the 4100 block of Aspen Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:39 a.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling in the 3000 block of Wood Duck Avenue.
