They will be taught by Tony Soltys, President of the Raincountry Flyfishers, who has taught these classes annually since 1994. Workshops will be paced for beginners and require no prior experience. Emphasis will be on casting techniques useful for fishing local waters. He\u2019ll do in-depth lessons on how to safely cast weighted flies, often used locally, focusing on avoiding dangerous \u201cchuck and duck\u201d casts.<\/p>\n<p>Contact Suzanne Ainsworth with Community Schools at 523-1761 to register. Cost is $25. The first session will be held March 15 and 17, followed by another session April 5 and 7.
