City Hall and most City and Borough of Juneau offices will be closed Monday and regular office hours will resume on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Douglas road closures include St. Ann\u2019s Avenue from Summers Street to Third Street for the Douglas Soapbox Challenge on Monday. The road will remain closed to traffic until approximately 9 p.m. During this time, the road will be barricaded and both edges of St. Ann\u2019s will be lined with tires. Any vehicle parked on St. Ann\u2019s Avenue from Summers Street to Third Street during this closure will be cited and impounded at the owner\u2019s expense.<\/p>\n
The Douglas parade begins at 2 p.m. Monday and begins on Third Street at I Street to Savikko Park Road. Third Street will be posted \u201cNo Parking\u201d from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Traffic will be routed into Douglas on Fourth Street and out of Douglas on Second Street. Second Street will be posted as One Way Northbound and Fourth Street will be posted as One Way Southbound. Second, Third and Fourth streets will be posted as \u201cNo Parking.\u201d The Douglas Boat Harbor parking lot will be available for parking.<\/p>\n
The Southeast Road Runners will be conducting the 1-mile \u201cGlenn Frick Memorial Run\u201d on Monday, approximately half an hour prior to the start of the Juneau Fourth of July parade. The race will follow the same route as the parade, beginning on Egan Drive at Gold Creek Bridge.<\/p>\n
At approximately 10:25 a.m., the run will begin with the racers led by three cyclists. The race will last approximately 20 minutes, and all racers will be clear of the roadway by 10:50 a.m.<\/p>\n
The Juneau Fourth of July parade will begin at 11 a.m. at the Department of Labor building on West Eighth Street. The parade route is as follows:<\/p>\n
The parade begins at Egan Drive and West Eighth Street. It travels inbound on Egan Drive via outbound lanes to Main Street. It turns left and travels up Main Street. The parade will then turn right onto Front Street and travel against the normal flow of traffic. It will turn right onto Franklin Street and travel against the normal flow of traffic to the traffic circle. The parade then heads outbound on Egan Drive via the inbound lanes to West Eighth Street. Traffic will be closed on all streets and parking lots on the parade route beginning at approximately 10:25 a.m. and will reopen at approximately 1:30 p.m. All streets will be posted \u201cNo Parking\u201d in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any vehicles parked on the parade routes or marked as \u201cNo Parking\u201d areas will be impounded at the owner\u2019s expense, and vehicles will not be available for pick up until Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Capital Transit and Care-A-Van passengers will not have access to services on Monday. Full service will resume on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Monday, the Statter Harbor Office will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Statter Harbor field staff can be reached after hours at 321-0935\/VHF Radio. The Aurora Harbor Office will be closed, but Aurora Harbor field staff will be available at 321-1115\/VHF Radio. The Port Field Office will be open 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dock field staff can be reached after hours at 321-4926\/VHF Radio. The Port Director\u2019s Office will be closed. The Douglas Harbor launch ramp will be congested due to the celebration and parade, therefore, the use of the ramp may be restricted.<\/p>\n
Juneau International Airport will be open as usual for the traveling public. The Management and Badging offices will be closed on Monday.<\/p>\n
Juneau Police Department officers and Public Safety Dispatchers are available 24 hours a day. JPD\u2019s administrative offices will be until 8 a.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Juneau, Valley and Douglas public libraries will be closed on Monday. Regular hours will resume Tuesday. The book drops will be not be open until Tuesday. Items due Sunday or Monday that are returned by the close of business Tuesday will be checked in as through returned on the time.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Centennial Hall Convention Center will be open 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Zach Gordon Youth Center is closed Monday.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Augustus Brown Pool will be open 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday. Open and lap swim takes place from 4 to 7 p.m. Then, until 8 p.m., there will be a special moonlight open swim.<\/p>\n
