An autopsy will be conducted, but officials said preliminary reports didn\u2019t indicate any signs of physical trauma.<\/p>\n<p>The release said he had spent time in a specialized medical unit but was allowed to return to the prison\u2019s general population.<\/p>\n<p>Pinkerton has been in jail since Jan. 8 on multiple probation violations.<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s the fourth inmate to die in custody this year. All prisoner deaths are reviewed by Alaska State Troopers and the State Medical Examiner\u2019s Office.
