\u2022 At 7:42 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a residential burglary in the 7800 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n
Criminal trespass<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 11:08 a.m. Monday, JPD investigated a report of trespass at the Juneau International Airport. <\/p>\n
Domestic violence<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 4:12 p.m. Sunday, a 42-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault, and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was not involved.<\/p>\n
Fight<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 1:03 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to a fight in front of the Rendezvous Bar in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n
Fire and medical<\/p>\n
\u2022 On Wednesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to five EMS calls, a fire alarm on Teal Street triggered by burnt food, a report of a vehicle fire on Glacier Highway, one medical transport call and two calls that were cancelled en route.<\/p>\n
Motor vehicle crash<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 1 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a vehicle striking a pedestrian in the 9700 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. JPD spokesman Lt. David Campbell said a 17-year-old girl at a bus stop tried to cross the street after walking past the front of the stopped bus, but that a car passing the bus hit her. She said she saw the car, but mistakenly thought she could beat it across the road. She had a few minor scrapes but no serious injuries, and her father took her home. The driver, a 34-year-old man, was not cited.<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:16 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported vehicle in a ditch in the 3600 block of Tongass Boulevard. The driver, a 47-year-old woman, was detained for suspicion of driving under the influence of prescription medication. She supplied a breath and blood sample, and was released pending the analysis of the blood test. Her vehicle was impounded.<\/p>\n
Shoplifting<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 9:50 a.m. Monday, Christopher Dunlap, 28, was cited and released for shoplifting $25 worth of merchandise from a store in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.<\/p>\n
Theft<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 8:59 p.m. Monday, a 59-year-old woman reported the theft of a Webber electric grill from her porch in the 4800 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n
Warrant arrest<\/p>\n
\u2022 At 12:27 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a disturbance in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway, and Leon Paul, 29, was arrested on two outstanding warrants for larceny. He was taken to LCCC and held on $200 bail.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
