Jenkins-Alexie Thursday with attempted murder and seven other counts. Seven charges are identical to the counts originally charged in a complaint against Jenkins-Alexie, plus one additional evidence tampering charge.<\/p>\n<p>Police Sgt. Allen Brandt pulled over to talk to a man walking on the street early Sunday. Authorities say Alexie-Jenkins shot the officer five times, stole his gun and took off for a few blocks in the police cruiser.<\/p>\n<p>Brandt was recovering from his wounds after being transferred to an Anchorage hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Alexie-Jenkins is scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning. He is being held without bail.
