{"id":20175,"date":"2017-01-12T09:02:14","date_gmt":"2017-01-12T17:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/troopers-release-name-of-man-in-burned-truck-along-steese\/"},"modified":"2017-01-12T09:02:14","modified_gmt":"2017-01-12T17:02:14","slug":"troopers-release-name-of-man-in-burned-truck-along-steese","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/troopers-release-name-of-man-in-burned-truck-along-steese\/","title":{"rendered":"Troopers release name of man in burned truck along Steese"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ANCHORAGE \u2014 <\/strong>Alaska State Troopers have released the identity of a man found dead in a truck that burned in a ditch along the Steese Highway.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers shortly after 5 p.m. Dec. 7 took a report of a truck burning at Mile 155, about seven miles from the village of Circle.<\/p>\n<p>A body was in the truck.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers, the state fire marshal\u2019s office and the state medical examiner say the man was 73-year-old Richard Doran of Fairbanks.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of death was not released.<\/p>\n<p>The pickup was a 2003 Dodge.
