KTUU reports the man did not draw his weapon.<\/p>\n<p>The Alaska Dispatch News reports emergency responders were notified of a \u201csuspicious person with a firearm\u201d shortly after noon Friday. Anchorage police responded in force.<\/p>\n<p>Base operations returned to normal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst and foremost, I want to thank the medical group and security forces personnel who quickly reacted to the situation,\u201d said Col. Brian R.
