Assault<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 12:38 a.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a an assault involving a 28-year-old man in the 11800 block of Glacier Highway. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:22 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a fight in the 200 block of Front Street and arrested Jeromy Albert Morrison, 19, for assault and misconduct involving weapons. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n Burglary<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:25 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a residential burglary in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Disturbance<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:15 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a man threatening several woman with a firearm in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Drunken driving<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:39 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Ronald Hakala for driving under the influence in the 8800 block of Egan Drive. Hakala provided a breath sample of 0.186 percent. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.<\/p>\n Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 5:58 p.m. Friday, a 21-year-old woman reported her ex-boyfriend violated a protective order by trying to contact her via Facebook in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:53 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a theft from a hotel room in the Juneau area related to a domestic violence issue. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 4:35 a.m. Saturday, JPD investigated a report of criminal mischief related to a domestic violence issue in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:15 a.m. Saturday, a 63-year-old man reported the theft of items from his boat by a known 29-year-old man he is related to in a domestic violence issue in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 7:20 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a domestic violence protective order violation in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n Drug activity<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:51 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Chris Stetson, 65, for misconduct involving a controlled substance, being a felon in possession of a firearm and misconduct involving weapons in the 3400 block of Nowell Avenue. He was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 On Friday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to 14 EMS calls, two transport calls and one call about smoke on Harris Street, but a fire was not found.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Saturday, CCFR responded to 13 EMS calls, two transport calls and one call about a cigarette disposal container on Glacier Highway that was emitting smoke. Units used a fire extinguisher to clear the smoke.<\/p>\n \u2022 On Sunday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls and one call about a carbon monoxide alarm triggered by low batteries.<\/p>\n Minor consuming<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 3:25 a.m. Saturday, JPD cited six juveniles for consuming alcohol in the 2200 block of Trout Street.<\/p>\n Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:52 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report that James Lewis shoplifted from a business in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue where Lewis had previously trespassed. Charges were forwarded to the City Attorney\u2019s office.<\/p>\n Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:03 p.m. Friday, a 28-year-old man reported the theft of a downrigger, valued at approximately $550, in the 5800 block of Montgomery Street.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:35 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a theft from the porch of a residence in the 4300 block of Windfall Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:03 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of theft of approximately $15 worth of property from a residence in the 8400 block of Thunder Mountain Road. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 10:46 a.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Valerie Parkinson, 22, for vehicle theft and violating a stalking protective order in the 4600 block of Glacier Highway. She was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 1:39 a.m. Sunday, DeAndre J. King was placed under citizens arrest for larceny, then JPD cited and released King for theft of services from a taxi cab in the 1200 block of Ninth Street. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n Trespassing<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 12:27 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Alan Lee for criminal trespassing in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 11:38 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested William Moy, 23, for criminal trespassing in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Moy was additionally charged with false report after he identified himself with the name and date of birth of another person. He had two outstanding warrants for his arrest and was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 12:12 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of vandalism in the 1700 block of Evergreen Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:09 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a store\u2019s window in the 3100 block of Douglas Highway.<\/p>\n Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 8:31 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling resulting in the loss of approximately $700 of property in the 8500 block of Forest Lane. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9:17 a.m. Saturday, a 35-year-old man reported his unlocked vehicle was rifled in the 8700 block of Halfoff Way.<\/p>\n \u2022 At 9 a.m. Saturday, a 33-year-old man reported his vehicle was broken into and approximately $800 worth of items were taken in the 6800 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n Warrant served<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 At 2:16 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Ashenafi Sisay Tingley, 18, on an outstanding warrant in the 2200 block of Trout Street.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" This report contains public information available to the Empire from law enforcement agencies.
