Recently Healing Hand Foundation received a $2,500 donation from Wells Fargo Bank. The donation was presented by Karen West, Wells Fargo Business Manager, to Joe Kahklen and George Reifenstein, Healing Hand Foundation\u2019s President and Vice President, respectively. Wells Fargo\u2019s donation will be matched by the Sealaska\/Soboleff Matching grant, which means $5,000 will be dedicated to charitable awards.<\/p>\n
Healing Hand Foundation strives to bridge the financial gap for Alaska Natives who need items not provided by tribal healthcare or Indian Health Services. Since 2002, the foundation has given out more than $450,000 in medical assistance awards to 1,500 recipients from 18 Southeast Alaska communities.
