Conditions violation<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:37 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department created a case about a possible conditions violation in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 7:53 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of a 57-year-old man failing to register as a sex offender in the 400 block of St. Anns Avenue. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Death<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:28 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a 58-year-old woman\u2019s unattended death in the 600 block of Ninth Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Disorderly conduct<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:37 p.m. Friday, George Miyasato, 57, was arrested for disorderly conduct on Sealaska Plaza and for interfering with arrest after he was involved in a fight and ran from police. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held in lieu of a $1,000 bail.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:38 a.m. Sunday, JPD cited and released Dustin Rumfelt, 21, for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Front Street. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

Domestic violence<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 10:06 a.m. Saturday, a 38-year-old woman called JPD to report she was involved in a disturbance at her residence in the Juneau area involving her 30-year-old husband.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 3:41 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 38-year-old woman in the Juneau area for criminal mischief related to domestic violence. She was taken to LCCC and held without bail.<\/p>\n

Drunken driving<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD created a case for information about a reported hit-and-run tied a person driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Front Street.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:17 p.m. Satruday, JPD arrested Bret Russell, 32, for driving under the influence after he provided a breath sample of .304. He was taken to LCCC. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n

Evidence tampering<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 4:24 p.m. Friday, JPD reported charges were pending toward Chaleb Calandra, 22, for tampering with physical evidence.<\/p>\n

Fire and medical<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 On Wednesday, Capital City Fire\/Rescue responded to nine EMS calls and one false fire alarm.<\/p>\n

\u2022 On Thursday, CCFR responded to seven EMS calls and one false fire alarm.<\/p>\n

Reckless driving<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:18 p.m. Friday, JPD cited and released Pamela Nickles, 58 for reckless driving after causing a two car collision in the 8100 block of Egan Drive. She was also cited for driving without a valid license.<\/p>\n

Robbery<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:14 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a robbery in the 2200 block of Trout Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Shoplifting<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 12:58 p.m. Friday, a 42-year-old woman reported the theft of items from a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:06 a.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released David Waits, 52, for larceny in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road.<\/p>\n

Stalking<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 8:30 p.m. Friday, a woman in the Juneau area reported a man was stalking her.<\/p>\n

Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 5:21 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported two handmade bags were stolen, valued at approximately $2,000 a piece, in the Juneau area.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 11:35 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of two stolen handguns in the 5800 block of Glacier Highway. The guns were later recovered. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Trespassing<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:02 p.m. Friday, JPD arrested Dakota Gallant, 25, for criminal trespassing at Fred Meyer in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. Gallant was additionally arrested for violating conditions of release related to a misdemeanor larceny charge. Gallant was taken to LCCC and held without bail., <\/p>\n

Vandalism<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 9:48 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a broken business window, valued at approximately $300, in the 9100 block of Glacier Highway.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 6:47 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of vandalism to a sign, causing approximately $50 in damage, in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

\u2022 At 10:06 a.m. Sunday, JPD received a report of theft from the Manila Cafe in the 300 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.<\/p>\n

Vehicle rifling<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 2:03 p.m. Saturday, a 26-year-old woman reported her iPhone 5, valued at approximately $300, was stolen from her unlocked car in the 1500 block of Ling Court.<\/p>\n

Warrant served<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 3:48 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Dillon Walter, 25, on a $20,000 warrant in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive for absconding from the Department of Corrections. Walter was originally charged with theft. When contacted, Walter lied about his identity and was also arrested for presenting false information. He was taken to LCCC.<\/p>\n

Welfare check<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 At 10:13 p.m. Saturday, JPD created a case for information on a welfare check in the 200 block of main Street. Alcohol was involved.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
