{"id":21778,"date":"2017-04-19T15:21:43","date_gmt":"2017-04-19T22:21:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/swimmer-seid-signs-with-tigers\/"},"modified":"2017-04-19T15:21:43","modified_gmt":"2017-04-19T22:21:43","slug":"swimmer-seid-signs-with-tigers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/sports\/swimmer-seid-signs-with-tigers\/","title":{"rendered":"Swimmer Seid signs with Tigers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Aidan Seid is headed to the desert this Fall.<\/p>\n<p>Several hours in the pool everyday should help with his acclimatization. <\/p>\n<p>Seid signed a national letter of intent April 8 to swim at Occidental College, a small liberal arts school in Los Angeles, California.<\/p>\n<p>As a Tiger, Seid will compete against eight other Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) member schools.<\/p>\n<p>At the 2016 Alaska School Athletic Association Swim\/Dive Championships, Seid established himself as one of the top swimmers in the state. He finished fourth in the 200 yard individual relay and fifth in the 100 yard backstroke.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;The campus is really, really nice.
