She has added piano to her arsenal–and a bit of soul.<\/p>\n The Mendenhall Quartet<\/strong>, 12:45 p.m. The Mendenhall Quartet is comprised of four women from across the country who are JAMM teachers, UAS students and Juneau Symphony members.<\/p>\n Ramiro Rivera and friend<\/strong>, 1 p.m.<\/p>\n Lou Nathanson<\/strong>, 1:15 p.m.<\/p>\n Emmett Williams<\/strong>, 1:30 p.m. Equal parts old school troubadour, punk rocker and alternative folksinger.<\/p>\n Andrew Cardella, <\/strong>1:45 p.m. Andrew just finished playing drums for a touring band. He is heading back home to Haines now and is excited to play his new guitar made by Cosmo Fudge.<\/p>\n Destany Hawley and the Forerunners<\/strong>, 2 p.m. Anchorage band of young friends.<\/p>\n Shonti, Will and Trudy (SWAT) <\/strong>, 2:15 p.m.<\/p>\n Bodhi Nelson<\/strong>, 2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n Radish and Sprout<\/strong>, 2:45 p.m. Radish and Sprout brings new takes on standards from far away lands alongside close-to-home original compositions.<\/p>\n Monica Lettner, <\/strong>3 p.m. Making up songs since she was a kid, now she embraces a career in Music Education and will be working with Girls Rock Camp Alaska for the third year.<\/p>\n Doyle Burnett<\/strong>, 3:15 p.m. Many years away from the Alaska Folk Festival – time again to re-connect with a few folk tunes from the past.<\/p>\n Richard Yospin, <\/strong>3:30 p.m. Jazz standards, country blues and Chicago blues.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Saturday, April 9<\/strong><\/p>\n Evening Performances<\/strong><\/p>\n Surreptitious Songbirds<\/strong>, 7 p.m. A crew of fourth through sixth graders from Montessori Borealis School.<\/p>\n Grant Dermody<\/strong>, 7:15 p.m. Solo harmonica and voice from the deep Northwest and the lower spleen.<\/p>\n Mary DeSmet, Greg Burger, Don Rudolph, <\/strong> 7:30 p.m. A mix of folk, bluegrass and jazz.<\/p>\n Tramwreck<\/strong>, 7:45 p.m.<\/p>\n Sea of Heartbreak<\/strong>, 8 p.m. A band made up of best friends residing throughout the Pacific Northwest trying to stay out of trouble and breaking hearts everywhere they go<\/p>\n The Easy Leaves<\/strong>, 8:15 p.m. Running at the front of the Country music herd in California, The Easy Leaves\u2019 record, Fresno, continues their work as ambassadors of California Country<\/p>\n The Alabama Bow Ties<\/strong>, 8:30 p.m. Traditional bluegrass and some old country for good measure.<\/p>\n Kim Beggs , <\/strong>8:45 p.m. Kim Beggs has now spent more than half her life living in the Yukon.
