{"id":22518,"date":"2016-06-17T08:02:50","date_gmt":"2016-06-17T15:02:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/anchorage-man-critically-injured-in-highway-off-ramp-crash\/"},"modified":"2016-06-17T08:02:50","modified_gmt":"2016-06-17T15:02:50","slug":"anchorage-man-critically-injured-in-highway-off-ramp-crash","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/anchorage-man-critically-injured-in-highway-off-ramp-crash\/","title":{"rendered":"Anchorage man critically injured in highway off-ramp crash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 An Anchorage woman is being held on suspicion of felony assault and operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs after a traffic crash that left a man critically injured.<\/p>\n<p>Anchorage police Thursday arrested 32-year-old Tamara Dayton after the early morning crash Thursday on O\u2019Malley Road near the Seward Highway.<\/p>\n<p>Online court records did not list an attorney for Dayton, who was jailed.<\/p>\n<p>Police say a pickup driven by 35-year-old William Mathisen Jr. at about 1:40 a.m. took the southbound exit ramp off the highway onto O\u2019Malley.<\/p>\n<p>Witnesses tell police that Dayton\u2019s compact car ran a red light and crashed into Mathisen\u2019s pickup.<\/p>\n<p>He was ejected.
