According to a public notice filed Thursday, Southeast Alaska Backcountry Adventures has requested permission to use one of four slopes in the Haines area: Caesars, Old Faithful, Light Meter, and Venue. SEABA\u2019s request indicates only one will be used, based on snow conditions at the time of the event.<\/p>\n<p>The Freeride Tour\u2019s stop in Alaska is expected to last seven days in March this year and next.<\/p>\n<p>The tour, which began last weekend in Andorra, also includes events in France, Austria and Switzerland. The Haines stop is the only one outside of Europe and is the second-to-last event on the tour\u2019s calendar.
