This includes checking mooring lines, bilges, pumps and tarps, and the statement added that boat owners should remove snow from their vessels often.<\/p>\n<p>Snow has been falling at an extremely fast rate in recent days, and the National Weather Service issued <a href=\"http:\/\/forecast.weather.gov\/product.php?site=NWS&#038;issuedby=AJK&#038;product=WSW&#038;format=txt&#038;version=1&#038;glossary=0\" target=\"_blank\">a winter storm warning<\/a> for Tuesday afternoon through 7 a.m. Wednesday, from Taku Inlet northward. The weather service expects four to eight inches of snow by late Tuesday, and snowfall could be falling at as much as one inch per hour, especially Tuesday night.
