She has worked for KTOO-TV, the University of Alaska Southeast, the Division of Tourism and the Alaska Marine Highway. She formed Gaiptman Communications in 2005. She has worked for local and statewide organizations and is a daily fixture on KINY\u2019s Capital Chat which she produces year-round and hosts when in town.<\/p>\n<p>According to Jean Sztuk, the parade committee director, this year\u2019s theme is patriotism. \u201cThe broad definition of our theme is \u2018bringing communities, states and nations together.\u201d The committee unanimously felt Sharon\u2019s been bringing our community together for many years.
