The mystical Prayer of St. Gregory follows, featuring strings and trumpet. The mood will become more somber as they perform the moving Nimrod from Elgar\u2019s Enigma Variations. The second half will feature the Juneau Symphony Chorus joined by acclaimed soloists soprano Michelle Johnson and baritone Steven LaBrie as an immense Juneau Symphony Orchestra is assembled to play Vaughan Williams\u2019 plea for peace, Dona Nobis Pacem. The Saturday, April 16 performance is at 8 p.m.; the Sunday, April 17 performance is at 3 p.m. Both are at Juneau Douglas High School auditorium.
