Four rock bands are performing at 8 p.m. Friday in an event called Thunder Fest, looking to raise money for the Thunder Mountain High School music program. The show will take place at TMHS, and admission is $10.<\/p>\n
Dankrupt, who is also headlining the Winter Wipeout<\/a> on Saturday night (a 21-and-over fundraising event for the Southeast Alaska Cancer Connection), is also playing at Thunder Fest. The California-based band includes bassist Nick “Nicky B” Banaszak, who grew up in <\/a>Juneau<\/a>.<\/p>\n Along with Dankrupt, local bands Before You’re Nothing, Interrobang and Tredwell will also be performing. Along with raising money for the TMHS music program, Thunder Fest is meant to be a thank you to the organizers of the Winter Wipeout.
