She admitted to having a gambling problem at the time of the thefts and to using some of the money to pay for pull tabs and gambling online through Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>The precise amount of cash Solomon stole is unknown.<\/p>\n<p>Case files that had missing evidence have been turned over to the state Law Department pending any requests for appeal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 A former North Slope Borough Police Department employee has pleaded guilty to stealing from a police evidence room and destroying case files.
