{"id":24643,"date":"2015-10-26T23:34:30","date_gmt":"2015-10-27T06:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/spijue.wpengine.com\/news\/theater-finds-slithery-surprise\/"},"modified":"2015-10-26T23:34:30","modified_gmt":"2015-10-27T06:34:30","slug":"theater-finds-slithery-surprise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.juneauempire.com\/news\/theater-finds-slithery-surprise\/","title":{"rendered":"Theater finds slithery surprise"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A double showing of the \u201cRocky Horror Picture Show\u201d brought plenty of unusual sights to the Gold Town Nickelodeon over the weekend, but the biggest surprise might have been the six-foot snake found as the evening ended.<\/p>\n<p>On Twitter, the theater shared a picture of the snake captured in a clear plastic box capped with a theater sign and a heavy bag to hold the sign in place.<\/p>\n<p>According to Collette Costa, Gold Town Theater manager, the snake was found in her office.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A tweet from the theater declared: \u201cA perfect 4 a.m. finish to a Rocky Horror Picture Show is when you find a 6-foot snake in your space.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Editor&#8217;s note: An earlier version of this story stated the incorrect location of where the snake was found.
