Three Thunder Mountain High School students were recognized for the month of November.<\/p>\n
Junior Radames Bradley Merado-Barbosa was nominated by Marcus Blankenship, a social studies.<\/p>\n
\u201cBradley contributes to class in a positive way everyday,\u201d Blankenship said. \u201cHe always adds something to what is being discussed. He is thoughtful and sincere, and generally a positive person. His work demonstrates critical reading, writing and thinking skills. Bradley is an all-around excellent student and a pleasure to teach.<\/p>\n
Junior Allen Cook was nominated by Janna Lelchuk, a Russian teacher.<\/p>\n
\u201cAllen is in Russian 3 class,\u201d Lelchuk said. \u201cHis progress in Russian is amazing. This year Allen is in top of everything! Allen really enjoys learning Russian and it comes easy for him. I told him he could work for CIA and make a great spy!\u201d<\/p>\n
Junior Allyson Strong was nominated by Lai Hinckle, a math teacher.<\/p>\n
\u201cHelps others in calculus class,\u201d Hinckle said. \u201cDoes all of the assigned problems even though not part of the grade. She is the best TA I have ever seen. Helps students in my Precalculus class. Has an A+ attitude … great attendance.\u201d<\/p>\n
Sophomore Lillian Bannerman was nominated by Gretchen Kriegmont, a social studies teacher.<\/p>\n
\u201cLillian shows such promise and potential in academics,\u201d Kriegmont said. \u201cHer attention to detail, thoughtful work and insights are a welcome addition to the classroom.
