The Juneau School District’s search for a principal at the Juneau Community Charter School is down to two candidates, one of whom is currently a teacher at Thunder Mountain High School.<\/p>\n
The two candidates will visit the school and interview for the position on Wednesday and Thursday. The finalists are Caron Smith, the principal of Bridges Career &Technical High School<\/a> in Madras, Oregon, and Graham Storey, currently a teacher at Thunder Mountain High School<\/a> in Juneau.<\/p>\n JSD is hosting a community open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesday. The meeting, set to take place at St. Anne’s Parish Hall at 430 Fifth St. downtown, will give members of the public a chance to weigh in on the candidates. The interview team will have comment cards available and will consider each of the comments.<\/p>\n The individual interviews will also be open to the public.
