The nature of the injury was not disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>The Alaska Mountain Rescue Group, Anchorage Nordic Ski Patrol, the Girdwood Fire Department, and Cooper Landing emergency medical responders met troopers at the pass.<\/p>\n<p>Rescuers reached Harvey just after 5 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>They carried him down from the ridge and reached the parking area just after 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Girdwood Fire Department responders transported Harvey to an Anchorage hospital.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ANCHORAGE \u2014 A 36-year-old Anchorage skier was carried to safety after an injury at Turnagain Pass.
