She is the first Coppa barista to receive this certification. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re proud of India for achieving this milestone,\u201d said Marc Wheeler, co-owner of Coppa. \u201cIt\u2019s great to see her hard work and dedication to the craft of coffee recognized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To become certified, Busby had to complete seven classes and pass both a written and practical examination. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve really enjoyed learning more about brewing coffee and making espresso drinks, especially at barista camp last summer,\u201d Busby said. \u201cI love my customers and it\u2019s great being able to serve them the high quality coffee drinks they deserve.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Busby is Coppa\u2019s opening barista on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays.  Busby graduated from Thunder Mountain High School in 2014 and is currently enrolled at University of Alaska Southeast.
